The Impact You'll Make in this Role As an Executive Administrative Assistant, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Providing administrative support for the 3M President and CFO
- Scheduling and supporting on- and off-site meetings, travel, and teleconferences and making necessary arrangements to set-up meetings
- Creating and/or compiling meeting materials including agendas, pre-read material, presentations, surveys and meeting summaries
- Interpreting and administering corporate policies and procedures
- Performing administrative duties such as coordinating travel, managing calendars, reviewing and routing incoming correspondence, database management
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to Operating Committee members
- Creating and managing projects in MS Teams and Power Point Presentations
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: - High School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Seven (7) combined years of experience in an administrative C-suite assistant function, secretarial, and/or clerical role in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: - Experience as an Executive Assistant in the financial services and processes
- Proactive thinker who takes accountability and is able to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Experience handling confidential, sensitive business information and supporting executive level professionals
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- The willingness to be onsite to partner with the group president through and after the onboarding period
- Individual who consistently demonstrates the desire to develop themselves
- Possess expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Ability to build strong relationships and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to anticipate needs providing exceptional service.
- Demonstrated ability to be adaptable, flexible, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A profound attention to quality, keen attention to detail and spirit of service excellence.
