Sales Manager
The Sales Manager (SM) at PERI is responsible for driving market share growth and maximizing revenue within a designated territory. This role involves leading and developing the sales team to achieve segment-specific revenue targets and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction within our scaffolding sector. The SM is tasked with developing and implementing a sales strategy that aligns with the national strategy, market potential, and overall group revenue objectives. This includes focusing on customers, products, and business models. Additionally, the RSM is responsible for planning, monitoring, and directing sales resources to ensure comprehensive market coverage and optimal sales performance across the geographic area.

What you’ll do in a typical day:
- Provide leadership and coaching aligned with PERI’s mission, values, and leadership principles, setting clear expectations and performance goals for the sales team.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy focused on market share growth, including sales resource planning, revenue forecasting, and growth across business models.
- Ensure all financial, compliance, and contractual requirements are met, actively minimizing PERI’s risk exposure.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve weekly, monthly, and yearly individual and team targets and objectives.
- Conduct regular one-on-one and group sales reviews to steer, coach, motivate, and develop sales team members.
- Analyze current market conditions, customer feedback, and competitor activity to adjust the sales strategy for optimal results.
- Mentor and guide the sales team in identifying business risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with specific goals.
- Actively participate in leadership team discussions, contributing to cross-functional initiatives and decision-making processes.
- Ensure sales team members have effective time and territory plans to maximize in-person customer interactions, build and maintain relationships, and support current and future projects.
- Engage with customers regularly to review satisfaction levels, address conflicts, and evaluate the team’s performance.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- A demonstrated track record of developing and leading high performing sales teams within competitive construction and/or manufacturing sales business to business environment.
- Advanced understand PERI’s sales process, scaffolding/formwork construction and/or manufacturing project lifecycles, contract terms and conditions, and B2B business environment.
- Possessing strong business acumen and an understanding of end-to-end sales process and customer lifecycle.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey information and communicate to various levels of an organization.
- Understanding of the construction and/or manufacturing industry and market potential within assigned geographical area in addition to advanced knowledge of PERI’s products, services, and solutions.
- Advanced project management knowledge with the ability to successfully manage a project schedule and effectively prioritize and manage time, tasks, and resources.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to problem-solve along with excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Goal and results oriented mindset with exceptional negotiation skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
