Summary Mother Goose Daycare & CDC Inc. is looking for exceptional and dedicated employees who want to make a difference in the lives of children and their families. We are committed to excellence in facilitating the growth and development of both staff and students. Our focus is to provide an accessible, high-quality, and developmentally appropriate educational experience that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development for children 6 weeks to 12 years in a nurturing environment. Our instruction focuses on language and communication development through participation in exploration, play and socialization opportunities, activities of daily living, and evidence-based curriculum activities.
Duties A Toddler Teacher is responsible for implementing the curriculum, providing age appropriate instruction, managing the day to day operational activities of the classroom, maintaining children's hygiene, monitoring children for health, behavioral, and emotional concerns, working with parents to ensure that chidlren are learning and socializing in a positive way and and assisting with serving meals and providing feeding assistance. The teacher must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment. The teacher will actively engage, encourage, teach, and care for and nurture toddlers.

- Eligible to work in the United States
- 6 months or more of experience in a licensed childcare facility
- Be 18+ years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pass Health Screening
- Pass Background Check
Nice To Haves - Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children and parents) and foster a team environment
- A strong understanding of child development
- Excellent leadership, organizational, an interpersonal skills
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification
- ECD 101
- The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
- Early Childhood Development
