Job Title: Network Engineer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Albany NY(Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Plan design and implement network infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
• Monitor maintain and troubleshoot network systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate and recommend network upgrades and improvements to enhance performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation including diagrams configurations and procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to endusers and IT staff regarding network issues and best practices.
• Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support overall IT and business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Experience in network engineering and administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs VPNs).
• Experience with network hardware (e.g. routers switches firewalls wireless access points) from vendors such as Cisco Juniper HP etc.
• Experience in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP CompTIA Network) are a plus.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior Federal Experience Will be a Plus.
