Job Title: Marketing Consultant - II

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Overland Park, KS 66251 (Hybrid)

(Must be onsite 3x a week, can be remote 2 days.)

Looking for a candidate with strong business copywriting/copy editor experience. This position will require a lot of writing and is not a facilitator for an agency to do the writing.

Description:

  • We are seeking a seasoned marketing strategist to assist with the development and launch of our 2025 marketing plan.
  • This contract position will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our go-to-market strategy for enterprise connectivity solutions, targeting large companies with 1,000+ employees.
  • The ideal candidate will have deep experience in marketing technology and connectivity solutions, combined with the ability to create and write high-impact pitches that align with our overarching 2025 campaign message.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pitch Creation: Help develop compelling pitches for our connectivity solutions that can be leveraged across different touchpoints in our campaign.
  • Ensure each pitch aligns with the overall 2025 campaign messaging and resonates with the specific needs of large enterprise customers.
  • Content Development: Write and produce marketing materials and assets as part of the campaign.
  • These include drafts of promotional emails, sales collateral, website copy, case studies, pitch decks, and other assets that align with the campaign strategy.
  • Persona-Based Marketing: Ensure campaigns meet the buying groups where they are in the sales funnel, using persona-based marketing to tailor content and messaging to different decision-makers and influencers within target companies.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Connectivity Solutions : Strong understanding of selling voice lines, business internet, IoT, advanced networking, and other connectivity solutions to large companies (1,000+ employees).
  • Integrated Campaign Planning Expertis e: Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Able to plan, write, and execute the campaign from concept to deployment.
  • Enterprise B2B Marketing Expertise: Deep knowledge of targeting and selling to large enterprise businesses, specifically in crafting tailored pitches for different personas within those businesses.
  • Nimble & Fast Writer: Strong writing and copywriting skills, with the ability to quickly produce marketing materials, promotional emails, and campaign content with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborative & Adaptable: Able to work cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to align on strategy and campaign execution.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high degree of flexibility.
  • Familiarity with Persona-Based Marketing.
  • Ability to develop persona-based strategies that address the unique needs and challenges of enterprise buying groups at different stages of the buyer’s journey.
