This role will ensure high data quality, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations, working closely with engineering and product teams to deliver tangible improvements across the platform. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the impact of data governance initiatives on platform performance, driving continuous improvements in data accuracy and consistency.
• Data Democratization: Work with IT and BI teams to facilitate secure, self-service access to governed data on the platform. Enable business users to confidently leverage platform data while ensuring compliance with governance policies, fostering a data-driven culture.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure platform data practices comply with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). Identify data-related risks within platform workflows and collaborate with Legal, IT, and Compliance teams to mitigate these risks through governance controls.
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
• Data Governance and Standards: Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
• Data Model and Metadata Management: Experience defining and managing data models and metadata for consistent usage across systems.
• Data Quality and Metrics : Proficiency in establishing and monitoring data quality KPIs, with experience in implementing tools to track data integrity.
