Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a JBoss Administrator to work for our company.

Summary:

• Client Agency is IRS.
• Must be able to pass IRS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).   
• The JBoss Administrator will administer JBoss environments (EAP6 and EAP7) with a focus on performance, scalability, troubleshooting application deployments, shell scripting, and managing SSL and vault configurations. Will collaborate with development teams to support Java applications, ensure seamless integration with JBoss, stay updated on best practices, and provide expertise for technologies like A-MQ, DataGrid, FSW, and rpmbuilds as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass IRS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).   
• Must have 4+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting JBoss environments, particularly EAP6 and EAP7.
• Must have hands-on experience in Java programming and support of Java-based applications within JBoss.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills with experience resolving JBoss-related application deployment issues and working with shell scripting.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite in Lanham, MD at least 50% of the time. 

Preferences:

• Experience with SSL certificate and vault setup and management.
• Familiarity with A-MQ, DataGrid, FSW, and rpmbuilds.
