*APPLICANT MUST BE A CURRENT PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME STUDENT (MINIMUM OF 6 CREDIT HOURS) IN UPCOMING SEMESTER OR IN THE IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING SEMESTER.

Position Description:
The Division of Learning and Instruction is hiring three summer internship positions. Interns will collaborate and assist with department staff in a range of projects.

Examples of projects may include: document editing, assisting with meetings and conferences, filing and organization. Interns will have the opportunity to work with staff in the Offices of Standards, Learning and Leadership, Title Programs, and Assessment and Accountability.

Interns will gain valuable perspective and experience through working with state level specialists that work to support educators and administrators in South Dakota schools and districts.

Applicants should have experience or coursework in education.

Qualifications: Applicant must be enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply. By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.

All students are encouraged to apply, but preference may be given to applicants with a standing of junior/senior, South Dakota residents, and students of South Dakota institutions.
