Job Description
Looking for a Immigration Para legal: The ideal candidate should be able to handle assignments from various attorneys, be a self-starter who can work on their own, be detail-oriented, and have good communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Keep track of deadlines for extensions, petitions, and applications.
· Understand immigration rules and procedures, especially related to the U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement (formerly NAFTA).
· Prepare and file various immigration forms, including:
o TN, H-1B, H-4, H-3, J-1, L-IA/L-IB, Blanket L petitions
o Request for Evidence filings
o E Visa applications
o Fiancé Visa petitions/applications
o PERM applications
o Immigrant petitions
o Adjustment of Status/Consular process filings
o Non-immigrant visa applications
o Waiver applications
o Naturalization applications
· Draft letters and affidavits to support applications.
· Gather and organize documents for applications.
· Help clients get foreign documents like birth, military, prison, and police records.
