Job Description

Are you a driven leader who thrives on providing 5-star service to hotel guests? You could be the perfect fit for our next assistant general manager position! We need an experienced hospitality expert who can work with our general manager on daily operations and take on their responsibilities, such as managing workers and department operations, while they are not available. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in hospitality management and a strong desire to provide great customer service.   • Create the yearly hotel budget in collaboration with the general manager and department heads, and assess and adjust performance throughout the year to stay profitable
  • Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support
  • Consult with the general manager to ensure that all guest service standards are met daily
  • Manage compliance with company or brand established policies and procedures and any local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Propose adjustments that will increase hotel profitability by assessing department performance and identifying issue areas
Qualifications:
  • Showcase exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • You must have previous experience in a manager role overseeing a team, preferably in a hospitality role
  • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
  • Must have at least 3 or more years of experience in the hospitality field
