Job Description

AdvisaCare is seeking a Full time Home Health Clinical Documentation Reviewer to join our teams in the Kalamazoo area. Candidate must have experience in clinical documentation review in the home health setting. The right candidate should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities include reviewing and auditing clinical documentation for compliance with state and federal regulations, identifying areas for improvement, and providing feedback and education to clinical staff. This position requires strong knowledge of home health regulations and documentation requirements.

Position is a Full Time Salaried Position - Part Time Remote and Part Time in the Office

Must reside near the Kalamazoo/Portage office location

Job Description for Clinical Documentation Reviewer

  • Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Conduct audits of clinical documentation according to established guidelines
  • Provide feedback and education to clinical staff on documentation deficiencies
  • Stay updated on home health regulations and documentation requirements
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to improve documentation processes and practices

Requirements

  • Current RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan, MA,PTA or COTA
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical documentation review in the home health setting
  • Strong knowledge of home health regulations and documentation requirements
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
