Job Description

• Perform daily preventative maintenance such as track cleaning, inspection for damage, and fluid check
• Adhere to all prescribed safety practices and procedures.
• Interpret signals, stakes, and markings to respect plan specifications, safe use of shoring systems, the ability to regrade stakes.
• Utilize pedals and levers to control the speed and direction of the machine.
• Utilize pedals or levers to control height/depth and angle/pitch of bucket.
• Install/change attachments using levers and hand tools.
• May be required to perform other labor/operator related tasks (based on experience, abilities, knowledge of incumbent, and direction of Foreman) as necessary in assisting crew with job completion.

Requirements

• Looking for those with 2+ years' experience.
• Knowledge of controls, methods, and techniques for operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to interpret grade stakes.
• Applicable dexterity, depth perception, and hand-eye coordination.
• Completion of Trenching and Confined Space safety course.
• Competent Persons Certification and Heavy Equipment Training.
