Job Description

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, one of the largest health systems in the Delaware Valley, has an excellent full-time opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join our employed Gastroenterology Medical Group located on the Mercy Fitzgerald Campus in Darby, Pennsylvania.

What we expect from a PA:

• Certified by the NCCPA
• ACLS/BLS certified.
• Hard-working
• Full-time position
• Ability to multi-task in a high patient volume environment
• Ability to work well as a team with 3 physicians and 2 other APPs.

What the job entails:

• Providing full range of care to patients both in the hospital and through the outpatient office.
• See and treat a variety of GI diseases.
• Shared responsibility of administrative duties (i.e., triaging patient phone calls, prescription refills, reviewing and interpreting labs/imaging results for all providers in the office, etc.).
• On-call coverage required (1 weekend a month and 1 night a week, along with 2 holiday coverage yearly that is subject to change).
