Experienced Claims Adjuster **Job Number**
: 190104 As a **bodily injury** **claims adjuster** on our team, youll independently manage a claim - including the injury portion - along with supporting customer needs while ensuring a swift resolution. Ideal candidates will put their strong negotiation and customer service skills to use interacting with customers, insurance carriers and others. In-depth training along with ongoing coaching will be provided, allowing you to feel confident in performing your job and developing relationships with our customers.
Starting your role from home, youll be provided virtual training and onboarding. Youll eventually transition into a hybrid in-office schedule where work from home days are possible, when we are ready to open our offices.
**Duties & responsibilities**
* Making coverage decisions that determine the extent of Progressives liability
* Gathering details through interviews and investigations regarding those injured in an accident
* Settling unrepresented bodily injury claims, among other things
* Calculates benefit payments and approves payment of claims within a defined monetary limit
**Must-have qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of one year in the insurance industry
* Instead of the above, a combined minimum of five years post-secondary education and/or work experience, at least one year of which must be in the insurance industry
**Compensation**
* $50,000 - $69,800 annually
* Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
