Job Title: Field Marketer/Event Coordinator - Austin Market (Hourly)
Location: Austin, TX
Reports to: VP of Marketing

Role Overview:

As our Field Marketer/Event Coordinator based in Austin, TX, you'll be the face of our brand in the local community. Your mission is to execute engaging events that showcase our products, spark consumer interest, and drive sales. You'll be the go-to person for event activations, from setting up to interacting with consumers and sharing the benefits of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Execution: Coordinate and execute approximately 2 events per week, which may include community events, sporting events, races, festivals, in-store sampling, and industry tradeshows.
Event Preparation: Collect sales materials and products from storage, transport them to the event using a branded vehicle, and set up the event space.
Event Execution: Engage with consumers, provide samples and coupons, and promote in-store purchases.
Event Wrap-Up: Clean up the event area, pack up materials, and provide event summaries to the Marketing team.
Product Expertise: Become well-versed in our product offerings and share knowledge about product attributes, health benefits, and usage occasions.
Local Event Coordination: Work with the VP of Marketing to identify and organize local events that align with our brand, and coordinate with event representatives.
In-Store Demos: Execute in-store demonstrations at local retailers, collaborating with store managers on events like store openings and celebrations.
Product Handling: Ensure proper storage and handling of refrigerated products, with training provided.
Positive Atmosphere: Create a welcoming and engaging environment at all events.

Schedule:

This role requires working weekends, with approximately 80% of the hours on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Flexibility with advance notice is possible. The role is primarily based in the Austin area, with minimal administrative work that can be done remotely.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Marketing, Sales, Event Planning, or Customer Service (Required)
Valid driver's license (Required)
Ability to lift 30-40 lbs (Required)
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Communication, or a related field (Preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Well-organized with attention to detail
Positive, proactive attitude
Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset

Pay and Hours:

$25-$30/hour based on experience. Approximately 30 hours per week depending on the event schedule.
