What To Expect
As a Tesla Casting Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational availability of a wide array of manufacturing equipment, such as Molten Metal Furnaces and High Pressure Die Casting Machines. You will apply your technical skills to install, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, factory automation and robotics. You will work with the highest caliber process and equipment engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and minimize or eliminate downtime. What You'll Do Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all industrial production and mechatronics equipmentPerform repairs on production-down equipmentOperate and repair every cell on a linePerform Corrective Maintenance repairs on the equipmentExperience with electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 480 VAC 3 phase, mechanical systems, conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, networks and robotics Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogues and suppliers, or obtain them from storeroomsAbility to work off-shifts, as needed
What You'll Bring Experience working in a maintenance capacity on production manufacturing equipment or have equivalent trainingAbility to understand and record maintenance procedures and shift pass downsAbility to read and interpret basic assembly instructionsBasic computer skillsAbility to use PC applications to report issues and provide inputsGood mechanical and electrical knowledge to understand typical mechanisms and wiring associated with equipmentMust have command of the English language, both written and verbal

Expected Compensation
$32.00 - $61.00/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
