The Chief Compliance Officer is the focal point of compliance and privacy activities for Broward Health. With oversight of the compliance program, its implementation, administration in accordance with laws, regulations and government guidance on effective programs, The Chief Compliance Officer will ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations, fraud and abuse laws, policies and procedures for the protection of privacy and confidentiality of protected health information (HIPAA) and other regulatory requirements. The Chief Compliance Officer works with leaders (executive, management) and medical staff to promote awareness and understanding, as well as to maintain a culture of positive and ethical moral principles and detection resolution for instances that do not conform to federal and state laws.
Master's degree with 10 years of experience is required for this position.
