Scrum Master – Charlotte NC - $73/hr

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a 9-month contract role with the potential for extension and possible conversion. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Charlotte, NC, requiring 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.

Key Details:

Pay Rate: $73/hr
Contract Duration: 9 months, with a strong possibility of extension and potential to convert
Location: Charlotte, NC (3 days in-office, 2 days hybrid)

Top Skills Required:
• 4-6 years of Scrum Master experience (Certified Scrum Master)
• Strong Agile experience
• Experience with Big Data Processing (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Mongo DB)
• Background in the banking industry, preferably investment banking
• Engineering background with a solid understanding of product development

Responsibilities:
• Lead Agile teams (Scrum and Kanban) to deliver complex projects
• Manage and evolve Scaled Agile portfolios
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
• Ensure continuous refinement of the backlog and work closely with Product Owners
• Use empirical data to assess Agile Maturity and optimize team delivery
• Address systemic impediments and guide the team in removing blockers
• Oversee teams working in Big Data processing and UI/UX software

Nice to Have:
• Experience managing teams in Big Data processing and UI/UX development (e.g., Angular JS)
• Previous experience in investment banking
