Position Title: Bookkeeper

Position Overview:
We are a small, vibrant enterprise in the wine and hospitality sector, seeking a meticulous and self-driven individual to manage our bookkeeping and administrative functions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an independent work environment and has a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and managing various administrative tasks at our picturesque vineyard property.

Key Details:
- Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week (flexible within business hours)
- Location: On-site at our vineyard property (not a remote position)
- Compensation: Hourly, Non-Exempt, $32-$35/hour based on experience

Core Responsibilities:

- Track and categorize sales from various revenue streams
- Oversee employee benefits and payroll processing
- Manage tax filings and ensure adherence to regulations
- Resolve issues related to accounts payable
- Conduct monthly financial reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain inventory records in accounting software
- Assist with inventory valuation for agricultural products
- Support the annual audit and preparation of year-end financial statements
- Keep corporate records and handle government filings
- Monitor cash flow and provide necessary financial reports
- Manage mail, banking, deposits, and cash flow

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated bookkeeping experience or relevant education, with references
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially accounting software
- Exceptional prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and a willingness to assist with various tasks
