Job Description


Our client is looking for an Agile Project Manager to work with our Insurance departments and our internal software development teams. The Project Manager will be responsible for work planning prioritization risk tracking communication and ensuring that projects are completed with a high degree of quality.

What you will be doing:

• Leads daily standup meetings backlog reviews sprint planning and grooming useracceptance testing and other scrum related meetings;
• Coordinates breakouts with product and technical teams to define work and clarify ambiguity;
• Gathers requirements for future features translates requirements into user stories for development team highlighting any risks to technical or product teams;
• Works with leadership to accurately estimate project requirements and solicits frequent feedback when estimates or assumptions change;
• Documents workflow processes and artifacts in an application map;
• Identify and implement bestpractices and sprinttracking to help maximize velocity and effectiveness of development team;
• Assist with resource allocation during planning phases of large projects

Experience you will need:

• 5 years of project management experience
• 5 years of experience managing in a Scrum environment partnering with an Agile development team.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
• A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Excellent organizational skills
• Understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance Industry is strongly preferred
• Experience with SQL is preferred
• PMP or Scrum certifications are appreciated
