Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager with a focus on Kanban in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Kanban principles and practices.
• Experience managing digital transformation and cloud migration projects.
• Proficiency with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
• Experience with AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies and their applications in manufacturing.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Kanban Management Professional (KMP), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)).
• Strong skills in coordinating and managing external partners and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with other Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Lean.
• Track record of successfully delivering complex digital transformation and cloud migration projects using Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Bunting Magnetics Co., located in Newton, Kansas is a leading manufacturer of magnetic conveying and separation equipment serving a wide variety of industries. We have an immediate opening for an Agile Project Manager.

Signing Bonus up to $5,000 (guidelines apply)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage digital transformation and cloud migration projects from initiation through completion.
• Facilitate Kanban meetings, including daily stand-ups, Kanban board reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and priorities specific to digital transformation and cloud migration.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of digital and cloud initiatives.
• Optimize workflow by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the digital transformation and cloud migration processes.
• Mentor and coach team members on Kanban practices and principles tailored to these projects.
• Ensure continuous improvement by implementing feedback loops and process enhancements within the context of digital transformation and cloud migration.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively, focusing on manufacturing outcomes.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure successful project execution and delivery
• Negotiate contracts, manage external dependencies, and ensure external partners meet project timelines and quality standards.
