We are seeking a skilled Agile Coach/Scrum Master on behalf of a managed services client. Our client is focused on optimizing the performance of ITSO Engineering and SaaS Services teams by establishing foundational Agile practices and effective dashboards. This role is 100% remote and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a global organization.

The Agile Coach/Scrum Master will play a critical role in embedding Agile practices across ITSO Engineering and SaaS Services teams, working remotely with no travel requirements. You will be responsible for implementing Agile methodologies, facilitating Agile ceremonies, creating dashboards, and guiding teams toward continuous improvement. The ideal candidate must be willing to work in EST or CST time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Methodologies Knowledge:
Implement and promote a deep understanding of Agile principles and values across teams.
Leverage frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean to optimize workflows.

Facilitation Skills:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Address team dynamics through conflict resolution and negotiation.
Encourage participation and collaboration during meetings to maximize team engagement.

Coaching and Mentorship:
Coach teams on Agile practices and guide them toward continuous improvement.
Mentor individuals to build self-management, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Inspire, motivate, and empower teams to reach their full potential.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Articulate Agile concepts clearly and effectively through excellent verbal and written communication.
Use active listening skills to understand and address team needs and challenges.

Problem Solving and Decision Making:
Apply analytical skills to identify challenges and uncover root causes.
Make quick decisions in a dynamic environment to keep teams progressing forward.

Technical Skills:
Jira or Agile Project Management Tools:

Expertly manage backlogs, sprints, and track work progress using tools like Jira Cloud, DevOps, or others.
Create and refine dashboards and metrics for team performance and status reporting.

Metrics and Reporting:
Utilize Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down/up charts, cycle time, and lead time.
Design and implement dashboards that provide actionable insights into team performance.
Change Management:

Guide teams and organizations through Agile transformations.
Apply organizational change principles and manage resistance effectively.
Soft Skills:

Adaptability and Flexibility:
Adapt to different team dynamics and organizational cultures.
Shift between Agile frameworks and methodologies as needed to suit the situation.
Collaboration and Cross-Team Coordination:

Foster collaboration within and across teams in the organization.
Scale Agile practices for cross-team collaboration and manage dependencies effectively.

Qualifications

Qualifications

:
Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master, particularly in IT and SaaS environments.
Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean), and methodologies.
Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira Cloud or DevOps.
Excellent facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
Ability to design and implement metrics and dashboards that provide valuable insights.
Experience in guiding Agile transformations and managing change in an organization.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
